Mover’s Call Theatre Company is a new production company
made up of three 2020 graduates from the Ballarat Arts Academy.

After the successful 2022 season of Fruitcup by Chanda Anderson Prior,
MCTC was created to further amplify the voices of writers’ new works.

Mover’s Call Theatre Company exists to facilitate emerging artists
by providing a platform for collaboration, development, and production.

We believe in a shared theatrical experience through learning
from our colleagues and approaching new works with heart and passion.

MCTC highly prioritises inclusivity and representation.

We strive to tell the stories of those who are often ignored,
and give artists a platform that they may not otherwise have.

We encourage theatre makers and creators to join our family either by
auditioning for our works, or submitting their own works for production consideration.

We aim to create a safe and inclusive space for those who identify as
First Nations, people of colour, neurodiverse, gender diverse and more,
so we can all continue to evolve and better ourselves as an artistic community.

We hope to contribute to the ripple effect of destigmatising groups,
subject matter, and people through our works, helping to develop a
more inclusive and true-to-life theatre industry in Australia.
