Fruitcup by Chanda Anderson Prior

A play with music, Fruitcup follows four young people as they navigate adulthood and try to keep each other afloat.

Ruby, Ivy, Clem, and Faye live in routine until the nature of their relationships drastically change, forcing them to re-evaluate their roles within the group.

Fruitcup asks how much a person can put someone else's needs ahead of their own before it becomes dangerous.

An original work created by Ballarat Art's Academy graduate Chanda Anderson Prior, Fruitcup was her debut as a playwright.

With an all-female creative team, this production tells an inherently human story through dismantling stigmas surrounding mental-health and sparking conversation surrounding trauma and recovery.
